wrong email address added at the beginning

  Hi,

  I have just created my account but unfortunatelly, I have typed in a wrong email address.
  Instead of @gmail.com I did a typo of ´@gmsil.com´ Is there a way how to change it now? Because obviously this way I didn´t receive any confirmation email, therefore I can´t change anything yet and even delete the account to start anew with the same name.
  I realise it was a silly mistake but any help/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Can you access your Account Settings? If so, you can update your email address as outlined here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

  Hopefully you can get that typo corrected this way. Let us know if it works!

  Hi Ivetuska,

  As Eryn mentioned, you can update your email address in your account settings. That will send a new confirmation email to the correct email address so you can confirm that address and complete the change. :)
