Wrong Email Address on Account

    Hello! I am desperately trying to de-couple my email address from my WordPress account. Frankly, what I’d really like to do is completely cancel my account — I HATE it. It has been NOTHING BUT TROUBLE since I signed up. No, really. I HATE it. It was only after I — foolishly! — signed up that I found out that I couldn’t cancel my account. But the support page said that I could connect it with another email address and thus free up my main email address from WordPress. I followed the instructions and did just that. When I check my settings, it shows the alternate address. But when I visit blogs and use my main email address, the WordPress account jumps in and prevents me from commenting, etc. without logging in to WordPress. Did I mention that I HATE WordPress? Please tell me how to stop this!
    PS I REALLY hate the fact that I can’t contact WordPress directly. This site sucks.

    Hi @redgriffin42, the email address was associated with your Gravatar account. I’ve disassociated that for you, so the system will no longer ask for logins when you comment with your email address. Best wishes!
