wrong email at registration = embarrassing

  When registering, I typed in a non existing email, thinking it was asking for the email I wanted to create for the site. Now I cannot finalize the activation in order to create the site. Help. Embarrassing.

  Simple enough. Go to your account page and update the email address to the correct one. https://wordpress.com/me/account

  When I do so, I get the message in a red box “There was a problem saving your changes.”
