Wrong Email on Registration

  Hi WordPress,

  I entered wrong email during my registration and currently I can change my email due to its pending for activation. Can you guys help me to change my email address to the correct one? My blog is juliantowitjaksono.com

  Appreciate for any feedback.

  Current: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  Correct email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Hi there,

  If you aren’t able to change your email address in your account settings, the email address you are trying to use may be linked to a different WordPress.com account. Every WordPress.com account has to use a unique email address, so if your email address is already linked to another account you can’t use it with this one.

  In that case, if you need you can reset that account’s password by entering the email address in the password reset form here:

  https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  If you’d like to transfer a blog from this account to another one, you can follow the steps in our guide to Transferring a Site to Another WordPress.com Account. That way your blog can be linked to the account with the correct email address.

  Hi, I’ve entered an extra character into my registration email by mistake. Could someone help to reset my registration?

  Hi aawinston,

  You can change your email address in your account settings. That will send a confirmation email to the correct email address so you can confirm that change.

  hello rachelmcr,
  The changing of the account settings does not work.
  I put in @gamil.com by mistake instead of @gmail.com and it will not update. I choose update and enter the correct @gmail.com and it sends me an email to that address, but it is still waiting for the @gamil.com to confirm the original. It never changes. round and round we go.
