wrong email registered

  Hi, I just registered the site ourfronters.wordpress.com, but I accidentally registered the account with a WRONG email address.

  I cannot confirm the account (since the email registered is wrong) and therefore I cannot change the email connected to the account.

  What can I do?

  Hi there,

  You can enter the correct email address in your account settings. That will send a confirmation email to the correct email address, so you can verify that email address and complete the change on your account.

  I totally did the same thing and I have tried to change it and it will not let me change it. It keeps listing the wrong email. I havce sent the notification to the right now but it will not confirm the mail after i click the link in the notification email. Frustrated –

  Any suggestion is there a waiting period

  Hi ymiranda214,

  Please go to your account settings again and re-enter the correct email address there. That will send a confirmation email to the correct email address, and you can click the link in that email to confirm the change.

  If that still doesn’t work for you, please let me know.

  The email I receive is worded oddly:
  “If this is correct, please click on the following link to change it.”

  I’d simply say:
  “If this email has reached the right address, and you want this address to be the new email address on your account, click below.”
