Wrong Facebook thumbnail for Homepage
-
Hi there,
It seems that the Facebook thumbnail is wrong for my blog’s homepage. According to the debug tool, Facebook sees my new Gravatar but keeps using the old one (big, blury version of it) as a thumbnail when the link is shared.
Here’s the blog : codex43.wordpress.com
Strange thing is : the version 2 of the Gravatar (good one) actually appears in thumbnail when I share the link with the Facebook App (on Android) but the old version 1 still appears if I access Facebook with a browser. I can’t understand why.
Thank you so much for helping !
Ben.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We have no control over the images that Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

Sometimes these help[ and sometimes they don’t resolve the issue

Thanks for the answer. I’ve been reading all this but its still a mystery for me how the thumbnail can be different on Facebook.com and the Facebook app.
I assume there’s no way to contact FB and ask them to fix it ?
