Wrong Mailadress

  Hello,
  i just startet a new Blog/account and typed a wrong Emailadresse, so i can’t confirm my blog.

  (email visible only to moderators and staff) is wrong –
  (email visible only to moderators and staff) is the right address.

  I only could start a new account with my right address, but my blogname “hochsicherherztrakt” is very important for me …

  Could you please help me or tell me what to do?

  I see that you have sent requests to change the email address, but it hasn’t been confirmed through the correct email account.

  You can change your account email address from here:
  https://wordpress.com/settings/account/

  Please note that the change won’t take effect immediately as you will receive a validation email at the new email address. Make sure to click the link in the validation email to confirm the email address change.

  Request it again one more time and see if it works. The previous email confirmation links may have expired.

  I am having the same problem. I change the email and then when the confirmation link comes in I click it. It leads me to a page to start a new blog. There is a login button at the top. I click that and login but nothing happens. I sent an email to support and Kris said to confirm but I didn’t know how. I replied to Kris but nothing happened. Apparently you don’t get real support unless you upgrade, but I am reluctant to upgrade if things are this funky. I don’t understand why it is so difficult to just change an email on the account? Am I really dealing with WordPress here? Or has someone diverted my emails or something?

  Well, posting on the forum did the trick. Now the email has changed!
