Wrong Name

  We want to change our name, the wrong one accidentally became our name. But when we enter the name we want, we get a message “already taken”. How can we claim the name we really want? Perhaps we registered before? We plan on upgrading to business account later. How do we correct this?

  Hi lynnedaniells,

  If the blog address is already taken, it could mean that there is another user already using that name.

  Have you considered registering a domain with the name that you want instead? You’ll be able to use it outside WordPress.com as well!
