Wrong name when replying to posts

  hi,
  On WordPress, when I reply to posts it’s calling me ‘spunmonkeycashmerette’ – i have no idea why, I never put that in anywhere. Where can I change it back to cashmerette?

  If you have a wordpress.COM blog registered under this wordpress.com username account https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/cashmerette then you can change the link.

  To link your wordpress.com username to your primary wordpress.com active blog and to enter the web address of it, go to https://wordpress.com/me/account

  Sorry I’m confused – it’s linked to my blog. I have a wordpress.com account. When I go to my profile it doesn’t say spunmonkeycashmerette anywhere, it just has cashmerette – that’s what’s confusing me.

  Yes, they’re my developer. But how do I remove their username from my responses to comment on my blog?

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   As you are referring to a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
