Wrong order of projects on portfolio page
-
When I added projects for my portfolio page I made sure that the older designs had a 2013 date, so the newest designs would be at the top of the page. Whichever template I try, the projects are showing in the order of oldest first. Help please :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you use the [portfolio] shortcode to put your portfolio on the home page, it will always show the oldest first. I don’t think there’s an attribute you can add to make it show newest first, see: http://en.support.wordpress.com/portfolios/portfolio-shortcode/

I have the same theme running on another blog and that is showing the projects in the correct order, I believed it should be the same as blog posts, the newest showing first, down to the oldest.
-
By default, posts are designed to display in reverse chronological order (from newest to oldest).
Mine are still in the wrong order.
-
Please note that there is a difference in the order when you use the PORTFOLIO shortcode in a post/page, or when you view the standard /portfolio page.
Using the shortcode will show your portfolio items from OLD to NEW.
Viewing them on the /portfolio page will show them NEW to OLD.See examples (four portfolio items with years apart):

OK, thanks, back to the drawing board, I think I’ll stick with a blog front page instead of a static one, far simpler!
