Wrong page showing – please someone help
-
Hello
I’m new to blogging and I’ve just started on this site.
I’m not sure what exactly I’ve done wrong here but basically, the site’s home address is
http://accurofsresources.wordpress.com/
This is NOT what I’d like the site to actually look like.
If you click on a recent post (for example – “First post”), you’ll get taken to what I actually want the blog to look like.
From here, everything seems to work fine (ie you can view all posts and the two pages “About this site” and “How can we improve this website”
BUT
Click on the “Home” page and it goes back to the original page which I don’t want.
I hope I’ve explained my issue properly – please can someone help – I’m going nuts!

The main page of a blog typically will show the recent posts, the number of which are displayed is determined by the setting in settings > reading. Comments are not shown on the main page mainly because of the fact that if you get a lot of comments, it would mean that your viewers would have to scroll way down to get to the next post.
If you only want one post to show on your main page, go to settings > reading and change the number of posts to display to 1 and then click “save changes” at the bottom of the page.
If I missed the mark on what you want, then please expand on exactly what you want.

Thanks for the speedy reply,
I dont think I’ve explained my issue properly.
It seems like my blog has TWO main pages????
The first one as I mentioned is http://accurofsresources.wordpress.com/
This looks difference (and I cannot amend it) to the rest of the blog, which I can only seem to access if I click on a post
If you go through the steps I mentioned previously, you’ll see what I mean.
Appreciate your help

The main page of a blog typically will show the recent posts, the number of which are displayed is determined by the setting in settings > reading.
When you click on a comment link or the title of a post, what you are seeing is a single-post page. It only shows that one single post and also displays any comments that have been left, and the box and fields to leave a comment.
What I was seeing on your blog before you made the about page the static front page and did not make and assign a new post page, is typical blog behavior.
Go here http://opposablethumbz.wordpress.com/ and look at how my test blog works. That is standard blog behavior. The main front page has a listing of posts (the number displayed depending on my setting) and when you click on a post title, you see the single post page where the comments and comment box are displayed as well.
