Wrong phone number on account

    I recently got in contact with Automattic after losing access to my authenticator due to a recent Android update and no longer having access to an old phone number on my account.

    They sent me a one time code to login and I was able to login to change my phone number. However, the phone number on my account is my new one, but every time I login a code is sent to my old phone number that is no longer connected to my account. I’ve changed the number in the settings and it says it’s connected but continues using the old number.

    It looks like you already have a support email with WordPress.com support regarding this issue.

    Since this is an account access problem, you should respond to the email that they sent you earlier today as they gave you instructions on how to fix this. The subject line of this email is: About your WordPress.com account

    If you still have trouble, reply to that and they can help you.
