Wrong photos on Bloglovin' and Google
-
The daily quote of my website only contains plain text, but don’t know why, Bloglovin’ adds my website icon as photo under every quote posts, and Google+ adds Petite Neverland instagram photos under every quote posts…
Is there anything I can do in WP to fix it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
WordPress.com have no control over the images that G+ or any other social networks choose to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. WordPress only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
The best way to fix it that comes to my mind is to set a featured image on each daily quote post. This way, the blog can suggest the social networks to use that image.
Here’s how to set a feature image on your post: https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/.
Only problem is – the featured image may appear on the post, however we could think of a workaround to hide it if you don’t fancy it on the page.Do you think this is something that can work out for you? Let me know :)
Thanks!
