Wrong picture at homepage
-
Hi,
Recently, the homepage has been displaying an incorrect image at the first post. It seems to be an old image from a previous post. I have also tried deleting the post image and adding a new one, but unfortunately that didn’t work.
it is http://www.feuewehr-wilten.at

Hi there – I see you are using the Publication theme which we created
Here is an example of your home page as I see it currently: https://d.pr/i/Y9yTzh
Is that the post that is displaying the incorrect image? If it is, could you tell us which image should be appearing?

Hi. Isn’t the most recent post the one displayed in the header? The text in that post, [Einsatz] Ölspur in Innsbruck, reports an event that took place March 16, and the calendar in the sidebar indicates that a post was published on that day, and it was only post published in March.
The image displayed in the header in that case, if it wasn’t created as a featured image, would seem to have been created automatically by WordPress.com from the video in the post content, because there are no images displayed in the post content.

Hi @mikeandwp you were able to resolve your issue over here, yes? https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wrong-image-on-the-main-page/
Please note that sites on WordPress.com do not use the same version of Publication that is in use on wordpress.org. There are some coding differences between the two platforms so the issue you were having would not likely be an issue here on WordPress.com.
The correct place to report issues with your site going forward is definitely at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/publication/ thanks!

Hi!
In the meantime I know that the problem is caused by the Next Gallery plugin- I have already contacted support about this.
Cheers
Michael
