Wrong posts showing to elementor archive template

  Using Astra and Elementor Pro. I created an ‘Archive Template’ using Elementor Pro and I assigned that template to my category using the ‘conditions’ option. I have some posts written that are assigned to the category with that is using this archive template. However, ALL of my posts are showing in this template and not the ones that are assigned to that category. How do I manage posts that should be there vs. shouldn’t. Thank you.

  correction and addition: *However, ALL of my posts (even uncategorized) are showing in this template [and not just] the ones that are assigned to that category page. I’ve learned how to use the query function but I want to do add rules every time I create a new post. Thank you.
