Wrong site being selected

    Hi there I am following up on a topic from yesterday with the same title. I was having trouble migrating a site.

    I would have continued this in the same thread but when I go back to it now says ‘Post Unavailable’. so I am starting again here.

    Someone named Mike gave me some helpful advice to migrate the site and I followed all the steps but then when I finished migrating (via Migrate Guru) and wanted to view the site it said ‘critical error’ but there was no explanation.

    Yesterday Mike also said WordPress could do the migration for me. I wanted to do it myself first but now it seems I will need someone to do this for me if possible? Thank you.

    To fix it, we temporarily switched your site to PHP 7.4. This solution will only work until the end of June 2024 since by that time all WordPress.com sites will default to more recent and secure PHP 8.1.

    Hence make sure to reach out to the creator of Avada theme and share the above error and nudge them to fix any underlying issue to ensure theme compatibility with PHP 8.1.

    You can create a staging site and invite theme developer to it for investigation. They/you can switch PHP version as mentioned here.
