Wrong title in email notification subject line

    I subscribe to Doug Muder’s The Weekly Sift blog, which shows up in my email notification as The Sift Weekly. That’s fine. I also subscribe to LaDene Morton’s KC Backstories blog. It also shows up in my email notification subject line as The Sift Weekly. How can this be fixed?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hi there!

    Have you saved the email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) in your email client’s address book? If so, your email program would take all emails sent from that email address – which would include any email subscriptions – and assign it a “name” to assign all the emails to.

    Can you confirm this is the case? Thanks!

    Hi there! There’s seems to be some confusion on this end. Are you replying to me (LaDene Morton (KCBackstories)? If so, I’m not sure what you’re asking me. Sharon Blevins, who wrote you initially, seems to be the only one who is having this issue with my posts. But if you still think it’s something I’m doing, I very much appreciate your help, but let’s start over and go slowly, because the question you ask (above) isn’t clear to me. Thanks.

    We’re pretty sure that this is nothing you are doing, and are working under the assumption that the Original Poster is facing an issue where their email app is grouping emails from different sites and “threading” them so they all appear to be under a single email subject line.


    @sharonblevinspoboxcom     if possible can you share a screenshot or two of what you are seeing in your inbox so we can better understand?
