Wrong URL given for new blog I created

I have two blogs already, “Dawn Along The Path Less Traveled” and “Julia’s Inner Monologue.” These are both under my username, which is dawnalongthepath. My primary blog is dawnalongthepathlesstraveled.wordpress.com. I just created a third blog called “Heaven Invades,” but the URL assigned to my new blog by Word Press without asking me my preference is dawnalongthepath.wordpress.com.

Now, this is extremely confusing, since I already have a blog by almost the exact same name and URL, and I’m not sure why Word Press grabbed my user name and not my blog name for the URL. Or why, if there is a problem with the blog name, it didn’t at least warn me that it was going to use my user name. When I created the other two blogs they automatically got URLs that match their names.

I can’t find anywhere in the settings to fix the URL to match the new blog name. How do I fix this?? Do I need to change my username? I don’t want to change anything on the other two blogs, and I would like Dawn Along The Path Less Traveled to remain my primary blog. I just want Heaven Invades to have a URL that looks SOMETHING like the blog it belongs to.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The blog I need help with is dawnalongthepath.wordpress.com, not the one listed at the end of the above post – I clicked submit before I could change it. :)

HAH! Answered my own question and saved you guys a bunch of time. Apparently I just didn’t see the first line of the form when I created the blog, which asks for the URL you want. So I recreated the blog and I will delete the one with the funky URL.

I am raising my right hand now and vowing to read every inch of the screen before I click submit. Because it appears I’m a little click happy and not following directions well today…. sigh…. mea culpa.
