Wrong url on jetpack email subscription form
-
Help! Below, you’ll see my problem. On my wordpress blog, KevinNelsonwriter.com, when people sign up to subscribe via email, the url is wrong that is written on the confirmation page. So when they click on it it gives a 404 error message that no such site exists. The site is NOT new.kevinnelsonwriter.com. It is kevinnelsonwriter.com. I’ve been everywhere trying to fix this and I don’t know how. Can anyone please help? Kevin Nelson, (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff). Here’s the form:

I suggest looking for an answer to your question here first > http://jetpack.me/support/ If you do not find one then the Jetpack forum is at WordPress.org http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.

Hi Kevin,
Jetpack associates your site by way of your domain. You’ll need to disconnect Jetpack from WordPress.com and reassociate it.
The downside is your stats will restart (as this is considered a different site than before as the URL is different).
The best practice is for Jetpack not to be enabled until on the production server or use the (relatively new) developer mode in Jetpack (released in late March).
As timethief indicated, the WordPress.org forums for jetpack is the best place to continue the conversation. Wish I had a smoother solution for you.
Cheers!
