Wrote an article on someone else’s blog which I cannot take down
-
I wrote an article for the blog ‘Women’s Republic’ in 2018 and cannot access my account again. This is the link to the article: https://www.womensrepublic.net/apparently-licking-an-ice-cream-tub-is-worse-than-raping-an-individual/
I cannot seem to remove it even if I am logged in. The page has removed access for me and hasn’t got back to my concerns. I would appreciate it if WordPress could just take down the page? Thank you for your time.

Hi @shvayjay,
Am sorry to hear that you have a problem with old content.
First, let me note that this forum is dedicated to WordPress.com users who have hosted their websites on WordPress.com, while https://www.womensrepublic.net website is using open source WordPress.org software and is hosted on GoDaddy as I can see here: https://hostingchecker.com/
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers of WordPress.com. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ .cannot access my account again.
If you can not not login to https://www.womensrepublic.net/wp-admin you can try to recover access to it using these methods: https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/.
If you are able to log in to http://www.womensrepublic.net but still can not update a content, you have to ask website owner to delete a content or give you editor rights.
So am sorry, but here in this forum there is not much we could help.
