WSASC WordPress Hosting

Hello! We would like to migrate our website (http://www.wsasc.org) to WordPress. Our organization has been dormant for the the last several years due to COVID and we want to get it back up and running. Apparently it is currently hosted on SingleHop. We do not have an IT person as of right now.

Hi there! We’re happy to answer questions about migrating; I had a look at http://www.wsasc.org/ as it is now and it appears to be using the WordPress software, so you’d be looking at importing the content.
So far from looking at the existing site, it appears that you have a few information pages that also link to PDF files, possibly some news updates in the form of blog posts, and a form where visitors can send you messages – all of that can definitely be done on WordPress.com as well, and the theme (aka: general appearance) of the site can be similar to what you have now.
As you mention that you don’t currently have an IT person, would you be looking for a migration service to do the work for you? We do have a Built by WordPress.com service which can also work for migrating site content over; it comes in two forms: full, and express. There’s more information about that here in case it could be useful for you:
