WSDesk Incoming ‘IMAP Email Setup’ Configuration

We installed and have configured the paid plugin for WSDesk. All settings have been configured correctly to my knowledge, and Google OAuth submitted correctly – however, the email settings for ‘IMAP Email Setup – Incoming’ will NOT take our credentials for the email account we would like to connect to this plugin. We are using GMail as our third-party email client, with the IMAP server being the default for GMail (imap.gmail.com) and the port being default as well (993). The only unique thing we need to provide is the Email and Password for the account. There seems to be no way that this couldn’t work since the settings are so straightforward, but here we are. Any suggestions for troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated!
