  Hi,

  I’m trying to use a custom dns to litenfot.wordpress.com. I’m using an external DNS provider, so I haven’t used your mapping features.

  The way I have set it up is that litenfot.se redirects to http://www.litenfot.se, and http://www.litenfot.se is a CNAME that points to litenfot.wordpress.com.

  Problem is, when I access http://www.litenfot.se, I get a redirect to litenfot.se and end up in a redirect loop. The redirect http://www.litenfot.se -> litenfot.se seems to come from wordpress, Is this something I can configure, or am I missing something?

  If you are trying to point litenfot.se to your WordPress.com site at litenfot.wordpress.com, you will need to purchase our domain mapping and update your nameservers to point to WordPress.com (you can also request IP addresses, but those do change over time). Using other workarounds may not work and has the potential of causing some of your site functionality (particularly when accessing the Dashboard) to not work properly.
