"www." in front of my domain still directs to old site

  Sorry, I posted this once with the wrong contact email.

  I mapped a domain I already owned to my wordpress site and it work beautifully, until you stick a “www.” in front of the link. Then it directs back to my old site instead of wordpress. I feel like it’s something simple but i can’t find it.
