www is not working

My website works when you do https://writenook.com but if you type in http://www.writenook.com you get: “Something unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.”
I am sure this is an easy fix but when I try to click around in the DNS settings it says everything is locked.
Any suggestions would be great!

Hi there,
The www version of your domain is correctly redirecting me to the non-www version, so this might be a caching issue on your browser. Can you check if clearing the browser cache or viewing the www version from another browser makes any difference?

Do you mean you’re unable to modify any of the existing records? If so, that’s normal – all the current DNS records are our defaults, and cannot be edited. But you should be able to add your own custom records if needed.
In this case the DNS is fine, though, from what I can see – the www redirect is handled by the wildcard CNAME record you’ll see in there, and that’s properly set.
Let us know if clearing the cache/switching browsers make no difference.
