www problem and domain mapping

  Hi, I used to have a domain (www.theambuscade.com) registered with yahoo smallbusiness and I used to have them hosted at freebitty.com. however, I decided yesterday to transfer the hosting to wordpress using this domain mapping feature. I’ve purchased credits for such and duly changed nameservers in my yahoo smallbusiness control panel to point to wordpress.

  The problem is, I’ve noticed that when I type in the browser address bar http://www.theambuscade.com, everything seems to be fine. However, when I type theambuscade.com only (no www prefix), I am redirected to the freebitty website. Also, if I click on any link like the single posts link, I’m as well redirected to freebitty website.

  Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

  It works ok for me (Firefox 2).

  I wonder if maybe it hasn’t propagated through the name servers yet…

  Maybe try flushing your DNS cache. On Windows open a command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns

  Domain Name switches behave erratically for upto 72 hours.
