  Hello, I’ve been trying to set up my website through wordpress but I’m having technical difficulties. I’ve purchased the domain name http://www.mimidia.gr through a greek domain reseller (www.papaki.gr) and is has been confirmed by the responsible authorities. Unfortunately, when I try the ‘add domain’ button, I receive a message that says ‘www.mimidia.gr cannot be established through wordpress’. Is there something that I’m doing wrong or are .gr domain names not compatible with worpress anyway?

  According to WordPress.com staff in a related forum thread, they need to manually add some domain names with country extensions. That may be the case with your domain so I’ve tagged this for staff’s attention.

  Hi there,

  I have created a zone record for your domain on our side. Can you please try adding the mapping upgrade again? Let me know if it still won’t work.
