I can help you get this sorted out.
But first, a couple questions:
Were you trying to use http://www.thia-basilia.com with your WordPress.com site https://thiasjournal.wordpress.com/ ? Or are you trying to point visitors to the URL https://thiasjournal.wordpress.com/ to a completely new site located at http://www.thia-basilia.com/ ?

Trying to point visitors to the URL https://thiasjournal.wordpress.com/ to a completely new site located at http://www.thia-basilia.com/
That’s is what I was trying to do. I paid $13.00. WordPress.com did the work and it worked but? WordPress.com kept sending me emails to the effect that I needed to change the DNS to WordPress.com so? After the 3rd email? Foolishly I did change the DNS and all went backwards.
I panicked! I cancelled the mapping! It all went to the http://www.thia-basilia.wordpress.com is non-existent in my computer! Meanwhile? My server Site 5 changed the DNS to them as per my request. Result?
http://www.thia-basilia.com shows in all computers but not in mine. Site 5 cannot help me because the problem is not in their end but only in my account with WordPress.com and they have no access to that account. So?
Now I am not able to work in my primary site which is http://www.thia-basilia.com. There you have my predicament–pitiful predicament caused by my carelessness.
I am willing to pay back to get the situation back where it should be above and? Request that those nasty DNS emails do not show up in my sight so I am not tempted to goof up again! Please do whatever you need to do to get me out of this mess. Thanks. :-)

It looks like you had set up Domain Mapping instead of Site Redirect.
Domain Mapping is similar, but is used for the first case I mentioned. When someone has a site on WordPress.com and wants to use a johnsmith.com URL instead of the default johnsmith.wordpress.com URL.
In your situation, you want Site Redirect.
What you need to do is talk to your domain registrar and have them change the nameservers for http://www.thia-basilia.com/ back to whatever your webhost requires. And then follow the instructions here to set up Site Redirect:
Let me know if you have any trouble.
