  Some of the posts from xanga disappeared after I uploaded the files. What can I do?

  Did you use this guide to do the Import from Xanga? https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/

  Will you please try importing the files again, but this time use the WordPress importer in WP-Admin instead of the Xanga importer:

  I was using the wordpress importer… Only 200 posts were displayed…

  With a file size of 934kb I suspect that those 200 posts are all that is included with it. That’s a tiny import file.

  Can you try to create an entirely new export file? What content are you missing?

  After unzipping, the size is 6.04MB.
  I have tried downloading twice from Xanga, and the size is the the same.
  It only contained entries from Apr to Jun 2005 and Jan to Jun 2007, while there should be more entries from 2004 to 2009.

  The export from Xanga was not split in to multiple files, right?

  Did you import all of those files then on to your WordPress.com site? You’ll need to import all of them to have all of the content from the export included.

  Ok great. Thanks for letting me know. I just want to make sure I understand what has already been done.

  You’ll see I’ve sent a note your way via email. Please add the export files to your reply so that I can take a better look at those and try the import from my side.
