  My Xanga import is taking longer than 24 hours

  Hello! Could you please tell us what browser you used for the import? As noted in the Import from Xanga support article:

  Note: the importer does not work with Internet Explorer 9.0 or previous versions. Please update your browser or try a different browser (Firefox or Chrome) if you are having difficulty importing your content.

  I am using Chrome. I was able to get my first two files uploaded, but for some reason for the third file is still importing and it’s been a week…if not more.

  Well, that’s quite a long time for a simple import!

  I’m sure staff will be able to look into this further. Let’s wait for them to respond.

  Sorry about that! I just reset your site’s Xanga importer, so you can try that import again. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

  Hi there,

  Hm, I’m sorry that importer gave you so much trouble! However, I just checked the file you imported, and it looks like all the posts from that file did successfully import. (The importer just got stuck after the import finished.)

  Are you missing any posts from that import? If so, I can take another look at it. If you have more files from Xanga to import, you can go ahead and import the next file now.

  Hello! I imported the next file and it seems to have gotten stuck as well. Any advice? Thanks!

  Hi @missdeezon,

  I went ahead and reset the importer. Can you let me know if the files from your previous export were actually imported and added to the post count or if they weren’t added at all?

  I don’t know anymore, I lost track from all the re-importing I had to do. I was told that my last file was all uploaded and to go ahead and move on to the next. Then it got stuck :(
