Xanga Import

Hi! I followed the instructions to import my Xanga blogs to wordpress. I have four .xml files to upload. I uploaded the first one. I received the email that it has been successfully imported. However, I cannot see any of the posts. Can you help?

Hi there, is jeneyoon.wordpress.com the site you need help with? I see a number of posts there, with the last one dated 2011.

I’ve checked jeneyoon.wordpress.com and there are a total of 37 posts dating back to 2009 (some are drafts):

You mentioned importing old posts from before 2011 so it looks like the import is working now. If you still have files left to import, be sure to wait for confirmation of the current import being successful before starting the next .xml file.

Hi! All of those posts (published and drafts) are all original WordPress posts. I’m looking for my old Xanga posts that date back to before 2009. Should I try to import again? I did receive that confirmation email for successful import before checking, and I still cannot see it :(
