Xanga import mac-incompatible?

  Import from xanga not working. I clicked the download button and a folder appeared in my downloads with 6 parts, all ending in .xml However, when I go to tools-import-xanga and try to upload one of these files, I get the error message “this is not an xml file”. Am I missing a step? Is this all just incompatible with Mac?

  Occasionally our users are running into this issue. What has worked for most users has been to either change the browser you’re using (for example, try Firefox or Chrome) or to try switching to the WordPress importer rather than the Xanga-specific one.

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.
