xanga import problem

I’ve been importing my xanga and when I come back to upload a new file it always says it’s processing the previous import. It’s been weeks now.

I have reset your importer for you. You can try your import again at any time.
For further instructions on how to do a Xanga import, please see:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.

Hi I am afraid the same problem occurs again… After you’ve reset for me I uploaded another new file and it got stuck again at that processing page. I’d uploaded 16 files until this happened. I still have 3 more files to upload but it won’t let me…

I’ve reset the importer for you again. If it happens again, you might try a different browser to see if that helps, and please post here immediately, as individual Xanga imports should process within just a few minutes.

Thanks. This is happening again. I was using Firefox. Can you please reset for me then I will try using Chrome… thanks again

It’s not working… even if I tried using Chrome. Is it possible that I have exceeded the storage quota? I am able to post new posts though. Thank you so much again.

I’m sorry to hear you’re still having trouble with your import. You’ve currently used only 1% of your storage space on WordPress.com, so it’s not a matter of space.
Some users run into issues with imports, and we are happy to reset the process when it happens. If you continue to run into this issue, I’d be happy to attempt an import on my end if you can upload your .zip export folder to a file sharing service like Dropbox so I can access it.
