xlm-rpc: support instructions not valid for hootsuite?

  Per http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/ I should be able to add xmlrpc to the end of my wordpress URL and it work for Hootsuite. Problem is, it does not. Nothing on the forums that help to resolve. The example on the support page (e.g. http://matt.wordpress.com/xml-rpc.php still triggers an error in HootSuite. Help needed on the forum. Thanks

  So are you entering this exactly: http://vineyardallin.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php ?

  I’m not exactly sure what Hootsuite is, so I’m guessing if you want xlm-rpc you are looking to post through Hootsuite. What exactly is the error? Are you sure you are entering your username and password correctly? You may need to seek support from Hootsuite…
