.xml Export file missing Images

  Hello there. I was doing an standard export from WordPress.com to import afterwards in my new WordPress.org self hosted site.

  Now I noticed that some pictures are not uploaded in my new WP, they are also not even showing up in the .xml file that I got from an “All content” export. Now I have tried to to a “Media” export with the time range that contains the missing pictures in my old WordPress.com site, but still – nothing shows up in the .xml file and hence, nothing is imported.

  Is there any other way to export files from WordPress.com other than the built-in feature? I do not have access to the FTP or anything I guess since i use a free version, but maybe there is another way to get a full export that contains everything without missing Images?
