xml import

  i imported some pages from squarespace, that were in xml format, the squarespace website specifically has a function to export pages to wordpress. I opened the imported pages in wordpress, and all the fonts are different, it doesnt have any photos, well basically its just the text from the original page. Is that how its supposed to go? I want the the original look from my squarespace page on my wordpress

  I’m very new to wordpress so I’m not sure what you’re asking. but here is the only blog i have with wordpress that i just started.

  Hi there,

  Try importing your blog again ( I don’t see any import pending at the moment) and make sure that your old Squarespace site is still accessible. The images will only be pulled over from your old Squarespace site during import if your old site is still accessible.

  Since WordPress themes are different than the ones you were using over at Squarespace, font and other features may look different depending on what theme you go for with WordPress.com. There may be some customization options via CSS, but more than likely the presentation of your blog will look different.
