XML-RPC on my own hosted WordPress?

  I have WordPress installed on my own hosted server (v2.2), but I don’t see an xml-rpc.php file in any of the folders. Does this type of installation support the remote posts, or does only the WordPress-hosted sites work like that? Thanks

  You need to be asking your question over at http://wordpress.org/support/ since we use a multi-user version of the software here and can’t answer your question.
