Why is xml-rpc posting from google docs not working?

  I cut and pasted the username and blog ID directly (aggreversity) from the pages here to assure correct spelling and removed white space from the ends, and put in my venerable password, nothing:

  ERROR:
  “There was an unexpected problem (Error decoding XML-RPC response).”
