XML – wordpress problem

  XML – wordpress problem:

  I have a lot of material I wrote, and I want to import it to my blogs (and I don’t want to do that one by one…)

  is there a tool I can use to insert posts -> generate XML that it’s format is compatible with wordpress?

  what are the fields that must be in the XML if I want to add posts with a future post date?

  I do not know of a tool that does this.
  As the data we use here is the same produced by any WP export then I would check at http://wordpress.org

  We do not have anything we can use though, sorry.

  ok, but what is the actual format? what fields are not necessary?
