  I downloaded a file from Xanga that is in XML format but it’s telling me I can’t upload it because there isn’t any authors.. but I’m the author sooo how does this work?

  Could you please confirm that you have followed these steps for exporting and importing the file?

  Import from Xanga

  Try to export the file again, upload it to your media library and let us know – we’ll have a look. Thanks!

  It didn’t work. I got the email that it was imported successfully but it’s no where to be found. I’m just gonna try to see if I can use another platform since this one doesn’t work unfortunately. However, thanks for your help!

  Hi there,

  If the Xanga importer doesn’t work, try using the WordPress import option instead. That sometimes works for Xanga files.
