xmlrpc.php fails with 301 Moved Permanently
-
I get a strange error when using xmlrpc.php on my blog holyhash.wordpress.com – the script reports back the error 301 Moved Permanently. I just cancelled an upgrade to custom domain name, could you check, maybe that did not complete well?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Could you clarify what you’re looking to do when you’re receiving this error? That way, I can try to reproduce the error message!
-
I am trying to post a new message using SNAP (https://wordpress.org/plugins/social-networks-auto-poster-facebook-twitter-g/)

That looks like a plugin for WordPress.org (self-hosted sites). Those aren’t available for blogs at WordPress.com. Instead, you could use Publicize to achieve a similar result:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/
Would that work for what you’re looking for?

No, that tool is for a different purpose. Are you deliberately denying access to third-party tools accessing WordPress through the API offered by xmlrpc.php?

NextScripts, the service that you mention, appears to only be available through a plugin for self-hosted sites here:
You won’t be able to use that service since plugins cannot be installed at WordPress.com.

Plenty of third-party tools use XML-RPC to connect with WordPress.com:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/
However, plugins aren’t available at WordPress.com. That would require a self-hosted blog using WordPress.org software. More on the difference between .com and .org here:
