xyz like spam is back

Spam likes are happening to all my comments also, as well as my comments on the blogs of others.

This is happening to my blog as well. Recently I set up a rule to block suspicious email followers that include @outlook.com in their address. These nuisance trolls are following me to legit blogs I’m following as well as comments on my blog. I have sent a list of 25 of them that hit me this morning through Support. Thanks for any help.

The spammers are after our personal information, ie email addresses, phone numbers, location and whatever else. Remember the facebook thing?

I so understand the frustration, I was hit on likes on many comments I left on other blogs 39 times, ( PS.. I happen to have a legitimate outlook email for my WP site alerts updates .. So it is unfortunate they are using this email link.. )

I am getting a lot of spammers lately, and today they are not leaving stupid comments with links etc., but they are liking posts. How can I block them? Here is one of them – id995697.sexyjyyn.website – I need help to be able to block these people. I have a free wordpress blog.

I know there are/were more spam Likes on comments from my blog visitors as well, but I wouldn’t be able to tell how many unless I checked every comment. :-D I’ve disabled Comment Likes for now and am following this thread for updates.

Can you please get rid of these spam “likes”!!!! hit me as well. Tried to filter out but they are all through today’s “Likes” xyz is particularly awful

I just made the topic about this as well. Users/sites like: id7524090.sexyfnuz.website, id9119381.tltopt.xyz or id3664738.sexyrkwebsite are trying to make you click on the comment in order to inject some trojan/malware script into our sites.

Hi @notdonner and @jackf65, there were some adjustments made to our systems before you posted. See if that has made a difference going forward and let us know.

All the spam likes are still showing on the comments on mine blog. And also on my comment on another blog as well as all the other comments on that blog.

The xyz spammers have now developed a scheme where they can be seen by the public, which I’m thinking is what they wanted all along, but failed as spam email followers and commenting “what?” Blog administrators can delete spam followers, and their comments go into spam, but we have no way of undoing their “likes:, and the handles are an embarrassment.
