Y blog keeps reverting to the old version of WordPress
-
My WordPress blog has turned very clunky. When I try to add a new post it does not give me the “block” version but instead I am taken to an area where it is very difficult to add and amend pictures and the overall effect is very basic. How do I get back to the new version of WordPress? I am finding this very frustrating.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I checked your site and it is set to use the block editor but still is using content created by the classic editor. There is a prompt to convert that content over to the block editor. Are you seeing that prompt?

Hi Darnell,
No I am not seeing that prompt. In the past I have seen it but not lately. The problem seems to start when I start a new post it then takes me into this very clunky set up which does not allow me to utilise picture or text very well. Your help is appreciated.

Hi spanishgarden,

I checked some of the older posts through your account and I’m seeing the prompt staff-doublebassd mentioned:

When I go to My Site > Site > Posts > Add New Post, this is what I’m seeing in the block editor:

It would be great if you could make a screenshot of what is happening and upload it to your Media Library. Hopefully that will give us a clearer idea of what is happening :)

Hi Gemma,
I am not even seeing the prompt “add new post”. I have taken a screenshot, but how do I send it to you?

Thanks — if you upload the screenshot to your Media Library, we’ll be able to go in and find it afterwards:
