Yahoo and google search picked up site before I changed template
-
Before I switched to the Misty Lake template, my blog regularly appeared in the Yahoo search. It hasn’t since. I had a friend do all of the webmaster stuff after a couple months passed incase that was the problem, but the blog still doesn’t show up. Why would changing the template drop me from the search? How do I get it back on?

First, check your Privacy Settings via your Settings -> Reading page. Make sure “Allow search engines to index this site” is selected:

Thanks. My privacy setting was correct. The other link was very helpful. Still don’t understand why it worked before I changed templates.

It’s possible that Yahoo might have tweaked the algorithm it uses to rank results. Are you noticing the same drop with other search engines (i.e. Google)?
