Yahoo Buzz

Seems Yahoo Buzz has opened up: http://buzz.yahoo.com/buttons
It would be great if wp.com would work with Yahoo to get a code which would work here.

I hope they do. It’s annoying that we can’t get an automatic button on each of our posts.
-
I’ve been trying to work on this myself and it’s making me nuts. Do we have to manually add a buzz link to each post?
-
Does manually adding even work? I haven’t been able to find one where someone actually got it to work.

The code uses script so it wouldn’t work. You can possibly submit the story to buzz, then provide the link in your post for your visitors to click and buzz at the source. I prefer a permanent way of easily adding the link, like how we currently do for digg. Certainly, Yahoo is more user-friendly (for average users) than digg.

I believe sunburntkamel’s social bookmarking buttons include it, and also GetSocial. Neither of them are automatic, though. If it’s not already in there, you can easily add it to the social bookmarking buttons at least:

I’d just like to add my vote to the “Please WP gurus come up with the same type deal for Yahoo Buzz as Digg” camp.
I’ve never liked Digg. Personally, I think it seems like it’s been taken over by an age group my children more identify with.
I believe WP is superior to Blogger, but when we’re always waiting for these features, it’s easy to see why there’s still that misconception out there that Blogger is better.

Should we all offer to send bribes? Like brownies or cookies or chocolates? Perhaps something “stronger” like wine, beer or rum (since it is Talk Like a Pirate Day and all…)
I’m willing. Need addresses though…

I submit my articles, and then manually add a link. Please let us know if y’all are at least working on bringing buzz to the WP.com community!!!
