yahoo email for a mapped wordpress blog

I’ve signed up to map my blog at kazzmusicorchestra.wordpress.com to my yahoo small business account domain(www.kazzmusic.com), and I can get that to work just fine, so that when I go to kazzmusic.com, my blog that I created through WordPress shows up instead of my old website for kazzmusic.com. I know that simply doing this will mean that my email from kazzmusic.com, which is really hosted through Yahoo will stop working. However, I know that I’m able to edit advanced DNS settings on WordPress so that I can get my Yahoo mail (myname at kazzmusic.com) to continue working. I just can’t for the life of me figure out exactly how to do it. I know it relates to MX Records, and I think I have to somehow input them into WordPress’ advanced DNS settings. Can someone share with me how to do it? The WordPress tutorial didn’t really help me. I’d love to be able to switch so that kazzmusic.com becomes my WordPress Blog. Thanks!

You can use Google apps to have your you @ kazzmusic.com email continue to work.

You can also use your Yahoo – you need to get the information from Yahoo so you can set they MX records correctly in Domain Mapping on WordPress.com – I still use my old host for the email on the two sites I moved onto WordPress.COM – WordPress.com uses a shorthand that my original host did not use and I had to get a bit of help from the Staff here then all worked well.

kazzmusic – did you ever get resolved? I am having the same issue and cannot find anything on the yahoo webistes that i can input here at WordPress.
