yahoo rss newsfeed not working on sidebar widget

  I’m VERY new to wordpress, and my blog is http://mlyon01.wordpress.com/
  I have a sidebar widget “Gray Panthers in the News” using the rss feed URL:
  http://news.search.yahoo.com/news/rss?p=%22gray+panthers%22

  On my blogsite, the sidebar displays links to appropriate stories, but when you click on the links, you get sent to a yahoo page saying the story cannot be found.

  Oddly, if you click on the widget’s feed title “Gray Panthers in the News” it takes you to a Yahoo news listing with the same stories as on my sidebar, only the links work.

  For whatever reason, it seems that Yahoo has some kind of ‘redirect’ scheme with their RSS links that redirect from the feed a couple of times to the actual feed entry. It would seem that on your end there is nothing you can do. It is just the way that Yahoo seems to have their feed setup….
