Yesterday, I registered the domain rober
-
Yesterday, I registered the domain robertsjd.com. I decided that hosting the site myself would be better for my purposes. I do not have 60 days to wait for the domain transfer, so I cancelled my plan and deleted the domain from my profile. My intention was to cancel the domain registration but I’m not sure if I chose the right option. The registration charge wasn’t removed from my purchase history. I would like to completely cancel the domain registration for robertsjd.com and have that charge removed from my purchases.
Also, will this prevent me from registering the domain elsewhere?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi.
I am tagging a WP support, you will find “modlook” on the side, so they can check on this matter.
I really hope this gets sorted out. :)

Hi there,
I do not have 60 days to wait for the domain transfer, so I cancelled my plan and deleted the domain from my profile. My intention was to cancel the domain registration but I’m not sure if I chose the right option.
You cancelled the domain, but cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. Only cancel a domain if you’re completely sure you no longer want it at all.
In this case your domain should be released in a few more days, but we have no way of releasing it immediately. You’ll have to be patient for this process to run its course and the domain to be released before you can register it again somewhere else.
I would like to completely cancel the domain registration for robertsjd.com and have that charge removed from my purchases.
There is no domain upgrade showing on your Purchases page. There is a payment for the domain showing in your billing history, which is a record of all transactions on your account. We cannot remove that.
