Yet another tumblr stuck in the import

As so many others my blog (https://sims2packrat.wordpress.com) too seems to be stuck in the importing loop. I’m mostly just wondering if it’s still in queue since I tried canceling it and it keeps telling me that it’s still processing but nothing is moving. While I’m asking I was also wondering; if I now go and start deleting posts on my tumblr (as there are likely quite few I really don’t need transferred) will the importer be able to see that those were removed once it starts importing my blog or would I have to remove them again once the import is completed? Similarly I have gotten few submissions that arrived to the blog after I started the import, will those be included?
Thanks for having this option to begin with by the way, I’d die if I had to manually transfer all the posts from my blog here.

Hi there – I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued and waiting to run. Please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve already disconnected it.
We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run another 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here. Thanks for your patience.

What about the other question I asked? Will everything break if I now go and delete couple posts from my tumblr before it starts importing or will the importer just skip over them if it can’t find them?

Hi there – while we haven’t tested removing Tumblr posts while an import is queued, we don’t think it should break anything or cause the import to fail. However, any posts you remove may still be imported, since they are in the queued job. Let us know how it goes.

Well then, today it finally transferred the blog, I had deleted few posts for science and now it’s supposedly still transferring last 2 posts but if I look at the posts section it already has what was the last post in my blog when I started the import. Actually I think it may have even grabbed post or two that were posted after I had already started the import. Does it look like there’s still posts it’s uploading in your end or did it just get stuck when it couldn’t find the posts? If it’s stuck please just stop the transfer so the next one in queue can get their blog uploaded, as far as I can see all the posts have already been imported. I will of course go through the whole blog to make sure everything really is there but if it’s missing one or two posts that’s really not the end of the world and I can just reupload them myself. :)

Hi there,
The importer shows that it failed on our end, so I’ve reset it. If you’re still missing posts, please try restarting it now. It will again take a while, but at least it looks like the bulk of your posts made it over :)

The only thing missing I noticed was that links in one post (it had multiple) hadn’t transferred for some reason but otherwise everything’s looking good so I’m marking this as solved. Thank you two for the help! :)
