Yoast Plugin not letting me view the text editor or meta description

I’ve been having trouble with the Yoast Seo plugin since I installed it a month ago. It worked for about a day, and then wouldn’t let me edit any of my posts. I disabled it, and tried again, which then worked for a day again till the next issue was that I couldn’t view the meta description box or edit anything in the text editor. I disabled it again for awhile, and then tried it again but it still didn’t work. Today I tried troubleshooting it, which was recommended in the Yoast forums on their site. When I selected my current theme and just enabled Yoast then it was able to enable it and work without any problems. However, when I tried to enable other plugins it showed the notice ‘When enabling the plugin, classic-editor, a site failure occurred. Because of this the change was automatically reverted.’ It did that for each plug in after that. It worked alright with the default theme. I closed the trouble shooting mode and reopened it to try to see if it was my theme. When trying any plugins on my theme the same error code as before didn’t work. Could the Yoast plugin be causing these issues? Or is my site’s theme causing them? Everything else on my site works fine except for Yoast, but for some reason in trouble shooting mode everything showed these errors.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi eclairemakery
You seem to be having a plugin conflict. Have you tried another SEO plugin such as All in One SEO? If you don’t want to do that, enable your plugins one by one and try and determine which plugin is causing the conflict, then replace the plugin with something more suitable.
    Regards,
    Pete
